Offering free WiFi and set on the bank of a stream, Chalet Karaka offers accommodation 3 minutes' drive from Takaka village in Golden Bay. Chalet Karaka was absolutely delightful - a hidden gem, tucked away in a beautiful, tranquil bushy setting with a small picturesque stream running at the bottom of the garden. The shower was fantastic - excellent pressure with a lovely glass side looking out onto the private garden and stream. The room was spacious and well appointed and the icing on the cake was the generous outdoor undercover living area/deck complete with a Weber for all your barbecue requirements. Ngairie, our host, was friendly, welcoming and very helpful.

The hosts were very welcoming, helpful, and fun to talk with. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast, conversation, and the wonderful and varied artwork on the walls. Set in tranquil surroundings with beautiful gardens and just 10 minutes' North of Takaka, Patons Rock Beach Villas offers free WiFi and a barbecue. The beach is just a 4-minute walk from the property.... Beautiful location near to beach. Villa had everything we needed and was very clean and quiet. Lovely gardens.

Located in Takaka, 10 minutes' drive from the beach, The Rocks Chalets features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. Free private parking is available on site. Chalet very well equipped, clean and very spacious. Quiet without seeing or hearing the neighbors. 3min from the center of Takaka. Warm welcome of the owner, impeccable cleanliness of the chalet, everything is very well organized, own barbecue. Wonderful terrasse. A commun kitchen also with more tools if need. The reality is much better than the website's photo shows. The bungalows are very spacious, nice, feel-good . Not the feeling of cheap, box-like as photos could let think. A great place. Top location . Can be a very good base. We would have like to stay longer. Good wifi. We highly recommand. Often full so don't miss to book.
