The hotel was gorgeous - beautiful property, clean large rooms, all the amenities you could possibly need. The basic continental breakfast was better than expected. Property was a 10 minute walk from the caldera and straightforward. Staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable, carry luggage, assist with taxis, and provided tons of tips for our entire stay and remaining trip locations.

The view is absolutely amazing, the pictures don’t do it justice. The staff is all incredible. They do everything possible to make you stay exceptional and to make sure that you enjoy every moment of your time in Santorini. Important to highlight that the breakfast that they offer every morning is incredibly generous. We were never able to finish all of the food that was given to us every morning. This place expensive is worth every penny.

The hotel was really incredible. Even having a lot of apartments, you can keep your privacy and the area was very calm and quiet. Great location, beautiful sights. Be prepared to walk and use the stairs a lot. Can cover it all in 2-3 days, so can make it a long weekend. Once tourist season starts, it'll get very crowded though - so May or September/Oct ideal.

We traveled to Oia in the end of April, which is just the beginning of their high season. The weather was cool, a bit breezy, and always nice and warm in the afternoons. The traffic was slowed at times because the streets are narrow, and there is not a lot of parking. Because of the steep cliff side dwellings, there was a lot of walking up/down steps which were uneven. Someone with physical difficulty would not easily navigate the steps. All the shop and restaurant staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The view from anywhere in Oia is magnificent. Oia is a place on earth that is a “must see,” and now we can cross it off our bucket list.

Our decision to disembark at Oia Santorini was extempore at the end of our 7 day Greek Island cruise. It was mid March and just perfect in terms of weather and crowd. I went out for morning walks and I had the entire strip for myself. The weather was in 60s and 70s. No rain except for the last day. It was interesting to see the whole town getting ready for Spring and Summer. They were white washing walls and getting their commercial spaces ready.
Very few places have impressed me with the esthetic beauty like this. The nature and the man-made structures compete for the attention and they co-exist. The beauty is stunning and it takes 48 hours to stop taking photographs everywhere you go.
We stayed in Oia for six days. It was a long 3 days weekend and for Ash Monday. Only on one of these 6 days, we saw some crowds at the Sunset point and it wasn't pleasant. Many restaurants were open. Restaurants on the main strip are expensive for eating out every day. You can explore the off beaten paths to find hidden gems that that charge you non-tourist rates.. You can also shop at the local grocery store and eat selectively at restaurants.
If you don't like crowds and waiting in the lines, I highly recommend visiting in March and November. I heard stories from locals that the Summer has been very crowded in the past few years. The cruise ships have made the matters worse.
Here are some recommendations.
Restaurants: Candouni - Must try for dining,
Cafe popular with locals. Piatsa Souvlaki. Excellent food.
Skiza cafe.- Pizza, Sandwiches, Ice cream.
Morning coffee and snacks. : Passaris bakery

Because we went slightly off season, the beginning of October, we enjoyed less tourists. I cannot imagine July/August heat and crowds. We did a sunset catamaran cruise, really recommend that, for a once in a lifetime day trip. Lots of great restaurants around and lots of scams so be careful. Cabs are expensive, so ask up front. Buses take forever and minibuses drop you off any old where......If you book a lovely hotel with transportation included you'll be fine. Ammoudi beach is a great sunset spot with yummy food......
very very friendly staff,we are always moved by their kindness and hospitality during our stay.
you can enjoy both sunset view and sunrise view just in your suite private jacuzzi, and just across the street in front of the suite, you will be struck by the beautiful scene of the whole picture of Oia.
rooms are all new and comfort, breakfast are very delicious.
since we had the experience of other hotels at Santorini, this suite is no doubt the best one we like even others‘ room rate is much much more expensive than this suite.
Very pretty hotel with a more "cluster of homes" feel (much typical of what one would hope for in santorini). The location is very close to the popular neighbourhood of oia and easily reachable by bus. The room was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly. The pool is a big bonus after a long day trekking around the different villages. The breakfast is wonderful with multiple options including eggs, bread, fruits, juices among other things and kept us going till the evening! definitely a great deal !
View from my room was stunning, great breakfast. The hotel is v well managed. I enjoyed my stay and will stay there again on my next trip to the beautiful Santorini What I appreciate most is the mobile phone which the hotel provide for me to use to call the Reception for assistance when I am traveling around the island. Its very helpful for booking cabs and also gave me the peace of mind that I could reach the hotel staff for assistance any time any where.
The location was absolutely beautiful and it was an easy walk to Oia restaurants and shopping. Thanos greeted us and gave us a warm welcome to Santorini and helped to quickly answer any questions we had regarding just about anything. He even helped to arrange our COVID testing before leaving Greece. We had an absolutely wonderful time and this is due in part to our wonderful and kind host Thanos. Thank you and we will highly recommend Cave Agapi!
The hotel is only 5 minutes away from the centre of Oia. The Majestic Suite is absolutely amazing with a stunning caldera view, and we enjoyed a breathtaking sunset while chilling in the pool. The room is comfortable and spacious, and the breakfast is delicious. The hotel staff is also very friendly and they offered late check-out to us before we asked. Highly recommend to anyone coming to Santorini and can't wait to come back again.
The location of this hotel is amazing! It is in Oia (one block from the bus station), the most wonderful town in Santorini and with the most breathtaking sunset views. The room was like an apartment with living area, kitchen, one bedroom and one bathroom (it looked recently painted and nicely decorated) There is also a patio with a pool. The staff was friendly and helpful. We loved our stay at this hotel!
Amazing place in an excellent location! Close enough to Oia but far enough from the crowds. Great, friendly staff, especially Nina who made my stay 10+. Loved my cave suite and the whole place so much I extended it for an extra night- even the last available was The Family suite!!😅Pool and restaurant are nice too. 12 times in Santorini at different hotels This Is The Best! Will for sure book it again!
The owner Maria was super super helpful and nice. She recommended us stuff to do while in Santorini and was always smiling and friendly. The rooms were big and had a beautiful view of the sunset. The hotel was about a 7minute walk way from the walking road in Oia. Everything was clean and the buffet breakfast was good. There is a pool which is a nice refreshment in the evenings and mornings.
amazing staff and amenities. We were immediately upgraded to a private suite with a private infinity pool. The views were spectacular and the breakfast was excellent
The staff is always looking to help and please it’s clients. The hotel is one of a few that offers an elevator. The location is superb, literally a few steps away from all the shops and taverns/restaurants of Oia.
Wonderful staff, they go beyond any level of service to fulfill your needs, Irina, Nicholas and Ali, who takes care of your luggage so you forget the stairs, are always available with a smile to mejor you feel welcome and to make sure you enjoy the stay, the hotel offer 180 degrees of caldera view and the size of the room is bigger than the standard in Santorini
The location was in the best part of Oia. We visited off season which allowed us to enjoy Santorini without the crowds. Antigone organized transportation to our Cave and she even organized a last minute rental car. The car was brought to us and we were allowed to drop it off at the airport. There were so many beautiful areas in Santorini!
Great views, very spacious room with two bathrooms and lots of extra space, the terrace was lovely and the private jacuzzi was very nice. Lots of stairs to get to the hotel, however we knew this beforehand as we had been to Santorini before. Right in the heart of Oia with incredible sunset views.
The most beautiful and best hotel in Santorini, we thanks our friend George from the bottoms of our hearts for his hospitality. He was very helpful and fulfilled all our needs, especially our anniversary arrangement, we promise him to be back again.
The location is perfect closer to Oia but not too close. It's a perfect stay for a couple wanting to enjoy Santorini. The tourists are in Oia during the day but leave in the evening. That makes the hotel a perfect place
every thing many the owner/ manager “Catherine” she helped arranging everything even before we arrive to Santorini and after checking out of the hotel she extended here assist so pleased with her assistance
For a long time I wanted to get to Santorini in Oia. The place is fabulous, the hotel is excellent, you can watch the sunsets from the terrace. the mountains and the sea are amazing!
Few minutes walk to OIA market from the hotel and best place to stay near OIA with Caldera view with pool access. Hotel Staff was supportive and provided all the information needed.
